My family owns three computers: two desktop PCs and a MacBook.
The first one was bought in 2013. I used to play video games on it, such as Plants vs. Zombies, Super Mario Bros. and some browser games on 4399.com. That was until four years ago, when my parents started to limit my time online. I still played it many times in secret though.
After I became a junior high school student, I joined tieba and got interested in Windows Beta. I installed Windows 2000 using VirtualBox in September 2018 as my first attempt to fully install an operating system. Six months later, I switched my main OS from Windows XP to Windows 10.
I often install testing versions of Windows on physical hardware. This may however damage the motherboard and the hard disk. The computer broke down for the first time in 2019. It couldn't boot up so the computer repair technician had to replace its motherboard. It broke down again 2 years later. Finally, my parents bought a new computer for me.
Half a year ago, some fatal glitches took place on this computer, but strangely the computer recovered by itself. Its performance is so bad today that I seldom use it.
